Im absolutely dead from the weekend! Bootcamp this week was focussed on core and legs! Circuit training again in 30-45-60 second cycles, this week included kettle bell swings, squats, leg raises, ab machine, leg raises, mountain climbers, sumo squats, high knee running and star jumps, followed by more squats, burpees and wall sits. Then work! Inc. tricep pulldowns, bent over rows, commandos and shoulder to overhead,
And that was just my saturday!
Sunday morning i got my fit twin to do her first Mt lofty run, so proud of her and she is such an inspiration to me, so far losing 29kg and well on her way to getting the body of her dreams 😘

I have had 3 hours sleep in three days and never felt better, I’ve realized how sensitive i am to caffeine and i think pre- workouts are not for me haha
This morning i decided to go for a hike up Mt Lofty - its a gorgeous and torturous hike around 10 minutes out of Adelaide, its 8km up the hill and back, with 2.5km of grueling 50% incline, but the view from the top makes it all worth while!
I completed the uphill in my fastest time yet of 47 minutes flat for a total of an hour 20 minutes - which is what it used to take me to just get up the hill!, not superhuman but I’m so proud of my effort as i only stopped once.
Best cardio workout you can imagine, and the best thing to do on a gorgeous sunday morning…. If your not hungover!
Hey my fellow fitness freaks!
This morning after an early cardio session of chasing my escaped bunnies around my streets for an hour i headed off to do a bootcamp with a few of my girlfriends up at Anytime Fitness at Athelstone (Adelaide)
It was a great weekend workout! An all girls boot camp, although there were a fair few fit boys having a look, always good for a confidence boost 👌
Beau our trainer gave us circuit work including - mountain climbs - commandos - sumo squats - box jumps - wall squats - burpees - knees to chest - rows - push ups
which was as many as possible over three rounds, round 1 30 seconds, round 2 45 seconds and round 3 one minute. Followed by a lovely plank competition.
Absolutely smashed every muscle, perfect workout to start your weekend!
And now for a lovely breakfast of moroccan seasoned chicken thigh and a cup of steamed mixed veggies!

so i’ve been M.I.A for a very long time, but i do have my reasons! about two years ago i started getting heart problems - beating too fast/ too hard, which caused me to stop training and eventually it became so bad that i would faint from my episodes (Palpitations) so earlier this year i had some surgery done to find out what is wrong with my heart.
i found out i had a loose valve in my heart, tachycardia and arrhythmia PLUS a heart murmur… not what anyone wants to hear, let alone someone who loves fitness!
so about 3 months ago i had surgery to ‘burn’ the section in my heart which was causing my problems..
i had a tube put into my artery in my leg which was directed into my heart and ‘burnt’ the section of my heart causing problems. so two months of laziness later i decided i needed to kick my ass into gear! i mean after nearly two years on and off with my heart problems i gained 8Kg.. not happy!
so this past month i’ve been putting myself through training to get back into cross fit for the new year, and work my way back to where i was before and beyond!
